With a Bachelor's degree in Interactive Media and experience as a game art intern at Trotzkind GmbH, I've created game-ready assets and contributed to VR environment design. Worked on the VR puzzle game "Selina: Mind at Large" developed for Meta Quest goggles.
- Research and creation of mood and concept boards
- Creation of concept art (2D & 3D overpaintings)
- Creation of game-ready assets for VR (modeling, texturing, animation) and their implementation in the Unity engine
- Level dressing and lighting in Unity
Working in a close feedback loop with other artists on the team allowed me to iterate quickly and refine my work by building on their valuable input. Coming from Maya and Unreal, I successfully adapted to a new art pipeline based on Blender and Unity, while deepening my knowledge of Substance Painter and picking up the basics of Substance Designer. Collaborating closely with game designers and developers helped me understand the bigger picture of game art within the overall game context and helped me understand the requirments from the tech and game design side.
